Simplicity rearranged

unmonetizable content since 1997

If you’ve got the location…

This is a good argument for installing solar panels closer to ground level, at least in the snow zone. The snow fell yesterday, and today is sunny and I thought warm enough that the snow on the panels would melt enough to slide off. Or are there solar panels designed for snow, with built-in warming systems?

About Me

I’m Pete Harbeson, a writer located near Boston, Massachusetts. In addition to writing my own content, I’ve learned to translate for my loquacious and opinionated pup Chocolate Bossypaws. I shouldn’t be surprised, but she mostly speaks in doggerel. You can find her contributions tagged with Chocolatiana.

Check out my other blog, Techlimitics, where I’m grappling with the nature of simplicity.
