Simplicity rearranged

Decisions, decisions

This is a question that’s been on my mind:
I have two sorts of treats, but my choice is which kind?
There are some that are crunchy,
and they’re really neat,
but the others are chewy,
and still good to eat.

I have both kinds at home
and it’s kind of a game
to guess which I will get;
’cause they’re just not the same.

When I get one that’s crunchy
My munching is heard
while the other kind’s quiet —
but which is preferred?

I just can’t decide
when I’m put on the spot,
So I guess that my favorite’s
the kind that I’ve got.

About Me

I’m Pete Harbeson, a writer (among other things) located near Boston, Massachusetts. In addition to writing my own content, I’ve learned to translate for my loquacious and opinionated pup Chocolate Bossypaws. No surprise, she mostly speaks in doggerel. You can find her contributions tagged with Chocolatiana.

Check out my other blog, Techlimitics, where I’m grappling with the nature of simplicity. You can also find some of my minor software projects at GitHub. Nothing very impressive. I mostly write tiny utilities in Python.

I find myself suddenly de-corporatized (their choice, not mine). To help keep the lights on, buy me a coffee!
