Simplicity rearranged

unmonetizable content since 1997

Max and me

Max McCoy is a journalist from Kansas; you can check out his excellent work at the Kansas Reflector. I visited my favorite book store over the weekend and picked up a couple of volumes I’ve been looking forward to. I put one of them on my desk, just in front of my display, and opened a browser window. One of the pages I brought up was a recent piece by Max McCoy that included a photo of his dining room table. And there was a weird coincidence:

I haven’t started the book yet. By the way, the other book I bought was Nexus, by Yuval Noah Harari.

About Me

I’m Pete Harbeson, a writer (among other things) located near Boston, Massachusetts. In addition to writing my own content, I’ve learned to translate for my loquacious and opinionated pup Chocolate Bossypaws. No surprise, she mostly speaks in doggerel. You can find her contributions tagged with Chocolatiana.

Check out my other blog, Techlimitics, where I’m grappling with the nature of simplicity. You can also find some of my minor software projects at GitHub. Nothing very impressive. I mostly write tiny utilities in Python.

I find myself suddenly de-corporatized (their choice, not mine). To help keep the lights on, buy me a coffee!
