The orange baby and its henchpuppets are planning to pay the January 6 traitors on the basis of having been prosecuted by a “weaponized” department of justice at the direction of Joe Biden. But hang on a second. Let’s look at an actual example, the “QAnon Shaman.” You remember, that shirtless oddball who stood out in the treasonous crow because of his screwy hat and big spear.
The shaman’s real name is Jacob Chansley. He was charged with trespassing on January 8, 2021, just after the treasonists’ riot in the capitol building. He was moved to nicer quarters in Arizona that could provide him with the organic diet he needed (or wanted). There was a hearing on January 15, 2021 to determine whether he would be detained until trial or set free with a promise to show up in court. The judge heard the arguments put forth by the prosecution (that would be DOJ prosecutors) and on January 19, 2021, decided that Chansley should not be let go before trial. Even though they had added a charge or two by then, you could, I suppose, argue that the allegations were not enormously serious. So, that thinking goes, maybe the prosecution really wasn’t entirely fair.
There is one minor detail to remember, though. Throughout the whole episode, the orange baby was the president and in charge of the Department of Justice. Joe Biden was not sworn in as president until January 20. 2021. So if the DOJ was “weaponized,” Biden could not have had anything to do with it.
