“Two Weeks” again

Now the orange baby says it will sue JP Morgan Chase for closing one of its accounts a few years ago. It’s claiming to have been “de-banked” as a result of its attempted Jan 6 coup. The whole thing is nonsense, just more deflection. They didn’t even “de-bank” Epstein. Oh, remember him? You’re not supposed to. “Two weeks” my ass.

What’s really going on, probably, is that the (somewhat obscene) Davos conference is just beginning. The CEO of Chase is scheduled to make a significant speech. The orange baby is attending and bringing a bunch of its toadies. What’s really going on is intimidation. “Ya better watch what ya say, or else.” The kind of thing you expect from bullies, thugs, and criminals.

About Me

I’m Pete Harbeson, a writer (among other things) located near Boston, Massachusetts. In addition to writing my own content, I’ve learned to translate for my loquacious and opinionated pup Chocolate Bossypaws. No surprise, she mostly speaks in doggerel. You can find her contributions tagged with Chocolatiana.

Check out my newsletter, Artisanal Scribbles, where I’m grappling with writing, authentic human authorship, integrity, and the craft of beauty in the AI age. You can also find some of my old software projects at GitHub. Nothing very impressive. I mostly wrote tiny utilities in Python and shell scripts. I’m mostly retired from coding nowadays.

I find myself suddenly de-corporatized (their choice, not mine). To help keep the lights on, buy me a coffee!
